HARISHCHANDRAGAD TREK USING KHIRESHWAR
Khireshwar trek trail is divided into two routes One is via Rajmarg and the other is through Tolar Khind. The path traversing Rajmarg includes a few difficult sections. Therefore, it should not be advised if you are newbie. The path through Tolar Khind provides a beautiful view , but it also has some challenging sections.

FROM KHIRESHWAR TO THE FOREST AREA
The train leaves at Khireshwar village. It is necessary to walk from Khubi Phata to the Pimpalgaon dam for five kilometers. It could take about an hour and half to get to the start location from where you’ll take the bus.
After crossing your way through the Pimpalgaon dam, you’ll see a sign on your left that marks the point where you begin the hike. The route from the village until the beginning part of the forest is simple terrain. The trail will climb to the paddy field before reaching the forest.
FOREST AREA TO TOLAR KHIND
From the Junction at the junction, turn left to enter the forest. You’ll notice a dramatic shift in the scenery. Continue walking along the same path until you come across a tiny tea stand. It takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to get to the place. This is the starting area of Tolar Khind.
TOP OF HARISHCHANDRAGAD THROUGH TOLAR KHIND
When you climb from Tolar Khind, you must climb up a large rock patch that is 65-70 degrees. It will take about an hour to complete this rocky region and then get to the plateau. The plateau is visible from the Pimpalgaon dam as well as Khireshwar village from this point. Explore the forts in abundance before heading to Konkan Kada.
